Effective April 30, Marius Junda is stepping into the role of Chief Financial Officer of Girteka Group. He has been with the organization for more than three years and has until now been responsible for the finance function within the Shared Services.

He has grown within the company, steadily expanded his responsibilities, and is ready to take on this position. I am confident that his leadership will ensure continuity, operational discipline, and clear priorities, while keeping finance a strong pillar of support for the business in delivering its strategic goals,” says Edvardas Liachovičius, CEO of Girteka Group.
The new CFO brings significant professional experience in finance. Before joining Girteka, he held senior finance roles across international and regional organizations, including CFO positions and responsibilities across the Baltics. His background includes experience in retail, distribution, and global companies, as well as work in asset management and consulting.
According to M. Junda, the role of finance in an organization today goes beyond control alone and is becoming an important part of business decision-making.
“My focus will be to ensure that the finance function actively contributes to business decisions, strengthens operational efficiency, and supports consistent strategy execution. Together with the team, we will work toward clear priorities and measurable results,” says M. Junda.
This change in finance leadership reflects the organization’s consistent practice of internal career growth. Until now, the CFO position was held by Vytenis Šuklys, who has decided to continue his career outside the Group.
