Girteka offers its clients road freight transport from all of Europe including Switzerland to Great Britain in accordance with new restrictions introduced by UK authorities late last year.
Starting April 1, 2023, financial penalties for violations of the aforementioned restrictions have been imposed on carriers from the EU. Deliveries between Switzerland and Great Britain are considered as deliveries between ECMT (European Conference of Ministers of Transport) member states by transit across Europe.
What are ECMT (CEMT) permits?
ECMT international road haulage permits allow carriers to transport most types of goods between 43 ECMT member countries or deliver those goods by transit through one or more ECMT member countries’ territories. A limited number of ECMT permits are available.
Girteka has taken all the necessary measures and acquired a sufficient number of ECMT permits to be able to perform seamless deliveries between Switzerland and Great Britain in accordance with the new regulations.
