EUROPEAN TRANSPORT GIANT GIRTEKA LOGISTICS FIRST TO REACH INTERNATIONAL FTL FLEET OF 4.000 TRUCKS AND 4.300 TRAILERS

Girteka Logistics, one of Europe’s largest road transport companies, has today sent its truck # 4,000 on the road. This milestone event was a great way for the company to finish an extraordinary strong year. Donatas Načajus, Chief Transport Officer inaugurated the truck before sending it on its first safe and on time delivery for the Christmas season.

Girteka Logistics, one of the biggest European transport companies, has grown significantly during the last 10 years, 2017 is no different, with +30% organic growth for the year. The company now has the largest FTL long haul fleet in Europe, the company work directly with many of the biggest transport buyers.

“Girteka Logistics truck #4,000 is a VOLVO FH540 with a Volvo 13-litre engine, Globetrotter cab, I-Shift automated gearbox with Fuel and Economy software package, Driver Alert system and I-See predictive cruise control,” states Mindaugas Paulauskas, Head of Transport.
