On 20 February 2019, Girteka Logistics opened a new transport unit in Poznan, Poland.

“The new unit will provide transportation services across Europe. We are planning to have over 300 trucks with PL registration in Poznan this year, and about 750 drivers will work with them,” Donatas Načajus, Chief Transport Officer, said.

Poznan will also have a drivers’ Training Academy, providing a full comprehensive set of training programmes, similar to all our other Academy programmes, to ensure that all new drivers will be prepared to work in a quality and professional manner. These will include formal training programmes for the acquisition of professional qualifications and periodic training of drivers (Code 95), and also informal training such as theoretical and practical testing, and consultations for drivers on topical issues.

Poznan will join our network of Drivers’ Academies currently located in the company’s main transport divisions in Vilnius, Šiauliai and Smolensk.
