In the company‘s mission statement, we clearly define our directions towards social initiatives – the community, traffic safety, and environment sustainability are all things that are very important to us. We actively communicate and invest in road safety by educating not just our drivers, but also the most valuable assets for the future – children.
On Friday, June 15th, a Girteka Logistics trailer-scene decorated the UNICEF children’s race: „For Every Child“. Another important national event that we happily participate in! This years race was a special one, celebrating 100 years of Lithuanian independence and the 25th anniversary of UNICEF.The event expanded geographically and UNICEF visited 5 cities! This years race finished in Vilnius and set a new record, with more than 10,000 young Lithuanian participants that helped contribute to the improvement of 13,000 other children lives!
At the event, Girteka Logistics supported and cheered on the participants. From one of Girteka Logistics owned trailer-scene, we held all of the young UNICEF ambassadors for an event photos, including 43 well known Lithuanian stars from various areas: Olympian and world champion Virgilijus Alekna, singers Merūnas Vitulskis, Vaidas Baumila and many others were at the event.
We are very proud to have been part of such an event. Even the smallest things contribute to a better tomorrow for children in need.
