Girteka Logistics transport fleet has grown to 5,000 trucks and 5,500 trailers, and our drivers have already reached the number 10,000! On this occasion, we organized a festival for drivers in Šiauliai, and congratulated and thanked everyone for helping us achieve this milestone.
“Just six months ago, we celebrated the recruitment of the 8,000th driver, and today we are delighted that the 10,000th driver has joined our team. Over the last decade, we have grown 10 times. This is a long journey that together with all the former and existing drivers, we have successfully completed to get to where we are today. Everyone has contributed to the success of Girteka Logistics. As we proclaim in our mission, “WE CARE” and we care not only about work, but also about enjoying the achievements together. I would like to thank you all and congratulate all of you, as well as Donatas Triaupys – our 10,000th driver,” said Donatas Načajus, Chief Transport Officer of Girteka Logistics.

How do you feel about becoming the 10,000th driver? What do you think about this event?
Surprised, I did not expect this. The event really motivates me and shows Girteka Logistics as a strong and serious company. I’m pleased when managers personally shake hands and greet me.
How long ago did you start driving a truck and where did you learn it? Why did you choose Girteka Logistics?
I have my licence for three years now, and I completed the necessary training at Girteka Logistics. I was already familiar with eco driving from earlier times, so my values matched with the company. Recommendations from friends also contributed to the choice of company, and I look forward to a long future here.
