Girteka has signed a long-term agreement with Mercedes-Benz Trucks for the acquisition of 500 Actros L ProCabin trucks. The trucks are being delivered in phases throughout 2026 and integrated into the company’s European long-haul operations.
This investment is part of Girteka’s ongoing fleet renewal programme and reinforces the company’s commitment to reliable, temperature-controlled and high-care cargo transportation across Europe. It reflects a disciplined, long-term approach to maintaining operational stability and consistent service standards for customers and partners.
“We continue to invest with discipline and long-term focus in strengthening our fleet and service reliability. The Actros L ProCabin aligns with our operational standards for international long-haul transport and enhances efficiency, safety and driver comfort. These new trucks directly support our mission to deliver temperature controlled and high-care cargo efficiently and safely with our own fleet. They strengthen our ability to operate with consistency, control and accountability across Europe,” says Pavel Kveten, CEO of Girteka Logistics.
Built on Operational Control and Long-Term Partnerships
The cooperation with Mercedes-Benz Trucks complements Girteka’s existing fleet partnerships, ensuring flexibility, competitiveness and long-term stability in fleet development.
Girteka operates one of the largest asset-based fleets in Europe, currently managing approximately 6,000 owned trucks. Operating with its own trucks and professional drivers enables the company to ensure operational control, reliability and safety – key requirements for customers in sensitive and time-critical supply chains.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin is designed for long-haul efficiency. The model features optimised aerodynamics, advanced driver assistance systems and a modern digital cockpit environment. These elements contribute to fuel efficiency, enhanced safety performance and improved driver comfort during long-distance operations.
The trucks are equipped with the latest generation of Active Brake Assist, combining radar and camera data. The system can detect moving, stationary or crossing vehicles and can initiate automatic braking to a standstill within system limits.
Active Sideguard Assist 2 can monitor both sides of the vehicle and warns of objects approaching laterally. When turning at speeds up to 20 km/h, the system can apply braking on the passenger side if earlier warnings were not heeded.
The new trucks further strengthen Girteka’s ability to provide controlled, predictable and high-standard transport services across Europe.
Continuous investment in people, technology and fleet modernisation remains central to Girteka’s strategy. The company’s ambition is clear: to operate a reliable, efficient and scalable fleet that meets the evolving expectations of customers and partners across Europe.
