The largest asset-based transportation company in Europe, Girteka, is strengthening its leadership team. A new position of Director Leadership Inspiration will be taken by Aušra Bijaminienė, a former Chief People Officer at the company. The latter office will be held by Jens Hovgaard Jensen, a Danish leader who has acquired most of his experience working at Maersk Group, the largest container shipping line and vessel operator in the world where he has recently been holding the position of Chief People Officer at Maersk Supply Service.

H. Jensen brings an extensive global and multicultural experience. In his previous roles he has run global organizational re-designs in Maersk Line, successfully led larger projects in all aspects of HR/People, including M&A, Incentives, Performance, HRIS system selection, and implementation, Leadership, Learning, etc. For the past several years he has been holding the position of Chief People Officer at Maersk Supply Service, an independent company of the Maersk Group.
H. Jensen is one of the most recent additions to the top leadership team at Girteka Group from abroad. In May, the company has announced Jens R. Sode is joining the company. Having more than 30 years of experience in logistics with more than 20 years spent in Maersk Group, he is currently working as Chief Operating Officer at Girteka Group in Scandinavia.
Girteka Group has recently announced its ambitious plans to become one of the top ten largest logistics companies in Europe until 2026 by doubling its sales revenue as well as investing in quality – creating the best working experience for its employees, sustainable processes, digitalization and other to be in line with the top of the industry. For this reason, the company set a plan to focus on leadership development seeking to have top-class leaders in vital positions. This strategic task has been delegated to Aušra Bijaminienė who has been taking the position of Chief People Officer at Girteka Group and is now switching to Director Leadership Inspiration.
