Girteka, Europe’s leading asset-based high-care logistics company, has signed a € 74 million financing agreement with Germany’s AKA Bank. The transaction is supported by Credendo, the Belgian Export Credit Agency (ECA).
This financing facility is dedicated to partially fund the acquisition of 1200 latest-generation trucks, as part of Girteka’s broader fleet renewal program. It supports the continued modernisation of the owned fleet and reinforces the company’s strategic focus on disciplined growth, operational excellence, and full control of its own fleet.
By continuously renewing its fleet, Girteka strengthens its position as a reliable partner for time-critical, temperature-controlled and high-value cargo across Europe – segments where predictability, safety, and accountability are non-negotiable.
Diversifying and Strengthening the Capital Structure
The agreement marks an important milestone in Girteka’s financial strategy to expand its access to international funding sources and diversify its capital base. By collaborating with international institutions like AKA Bank and leveraging ECA guarantees, the Group enhances financial flexibility while maintaining a robust and disciplined balance sheet.
