Girteka, the largest European transport company, is dynamically expanding its freight forwarding services and accelerating the development of its dedicated carrier platform, the Girteka Partners Portal, based on AI and process automation. One year after the platform’s launch, in response to new challenges and partners’ needs, the company is implementing further solutions aimed at supporting transport management and increasing operational efficiency.
Girteka Partners Portal, a dedicated online platform for carriers, was launched in July 2024. Today, several thousand small and medium-sized carriers affiliated with Girteka’s partner network use it to access high-volume routes and loads across Europe.

From simple registration, booking, and load matching, to transport management, documentation, and payments. Thanks to the intuitive interface and quick access to the most important information, everything is meant to be achievable with just one click,” says Paweł Stecko, Business Development manager.
Extensive functionality and intelligent matching
The Girteka platform enables registered carriers to directly book loads, negotiate rates, and confirm orders, with access to offers containing information on delivery times, loading and unloading locations, trailer types, and types of cargo.
But that’s not all.
Support in transport order management includes access to the full order history, the status of CMR documents and invoices, as well as transport documents. The system allows for load matching, direct loading confirmations, monitoring of cooperation quality indicators, and the use of 24/7 operational support. Additionally, in the case of transporting high-value goods, to ensure their security, carriers can generate a list of recommended parking spots for a given route directly from the platform.
A new, recently introduced feature in Partners Portal is Smart Match. Based on the history of previous bookings and preferences, including types of loads and loading locations, the system automatically suggests the best-matched orders to carriers via email notification. This way they do not have to search through the offers themselves, which saves time, provides faster access, and enables easy orders confirmation.
A key functionality of the platform is the financial panel for monitoring and controlling transactions and for simple document handling, with automatic invoicing after delivery of the load, which shortens the payment waiting time. The system also allows for the registration of additional costs, such as unloading delays or route changes, generating invoices and accelerating settlements.
„Recently, we have introduced the QuickPay option, which supports our partners in maintaining financial liquidity by enabling fast payment for completed orders.” – Paweł adds.
Further implementations already in preparation
At Girteka, work is currently underway on further process automation, also using AI, and on implementing new functionalities that will increase operational efficiency.
These include integration with the “Project44” – a tool which connects to every ground carrier in our network to deliver granular visibility from origin to final destination. Integrating data from various GPS devices will enable complete visibility along the entire route during delivery (RTV) and allow real-time cargo status reporting.
Another implementation being prepared by Girteka will support carriers in reducing empty runs. The new functionality is to automatically propose the nearest possible locations for the next loading relative to the unloading site. Currently, carriers search for routes themselves using advanced filters.
The platform is meant to set new standards
The development of the Girteka Partners Portal is another step by Girteka towards building long-term and partnership-based relationships with carriers as part of freight forwarding services.
